QUALITY GUARANTEE

As leather is a unique and natural material, the imperfections you may see due to healed scars, barbwire knicks, and other natural blemishes, are simply characteristics of genuine leather.

These are not to be considered defects - all our furniture is made by hand and therefore each piece has its own unique characteristics. Complete customer satisfaction is a matter of pride here at The Chesterfield Company therefore we offer three guarantees for total piece of mind;

Guarantee 1
Choosing the right piece of furniture for your home can be difficult even in a showroom. Often a wrong choice only becomes evident when you see the item in your own home. It may be too big, or too small, the colour may be too loud, or too subdued. You may even wish you'd chosen a different colour. Whatever the reason, if you're not delighted with your choice, you have 14 days to let us know and we'll collect the item(s) and refund your money less delivery and collection costs.
Guarantee 2
Assuming you are happy with your choice, and assuming fair wear and tear, every item is then guaranteed for one year against any manufacturer or material defect. We also guarantee the frames for an additional 4 years. If a problem does arise you can inform us straight away and we will be able to treat your furniture as if you had purchased it locally. We usually require two repair estimates from your local repair centres and, once submitted, we are then able to assess the quotation and notify you accordingly.
Guarantee 3
As we carefully inspect every item before delivery, complaints are extremely rare. If however, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you will find that our concern matches your own. Should there be a fault with one of our products, we will gladly repair the item free of charge or replace the item. Please remember that you have 14 days after delivery to change your mind giving you complete peace of mind! Our guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.

 

PAYMENT POLICY
All Internet orders are given top priority. The easiest way to order our products from ANY location in the world is using our online catalogue, paying for your products using a credit/debit card. For the technically minded - the payment processing section of our site is protected by Thawte 128 bit encryption, and your credit card details are further encrypted using the Data Encryption Standard (56 bit DES in Cipher-Block-Chaining mode with an initialization vector) before being processed by our order system.
Your details are not stored on our web server after your order has been processed.

A 50% deposit is required with your order and once we have completed your order the balance must be paid prior to delivery. Typical production times is 3 - 4 weeks to make your order and then allow 1 - 2 weeks for collection and delivery to your home.

DELIVERY POLICIES

Our delivery service is WORLD-WIDE and we only use carriers that specialise in furniture transportation ensuring a safe home delivery service. The carrier will call confirming the day they will next be in your area, you can also get a 4 hour time window for your delivery by calling the office the day before your delivery. If the delivery can not be accepted on the day offered (for whatever reason) the delivery is rescheduled within 7-10 working days. The Chesterfield Company can not be held responsible for any time lost at work due to late deliveries - our furniture is handled with great care and therefore we expect your patience throughout the delivery stage. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure what you ordered fits into your home or work entrance.

On receipt, you are required to check the goods for any damage or shortages and note down any problems on the delivery receipt. If the item is badly damaged, refuse the item and contact us immediately. We will subsequently take back any damaged goods to be replaced completely free of charge.
